Earthtones is a student run environmental organization at Valparaiso University that is hosting our annual environmental conference. We would like to invite Valparaiso community members to join us at our environmental conference on April 27 from 10 AM - 2 PM in the Harre Union ballrooms at Valparaiso University. This is an annual event that is intended to bring together like-minded speakers, students, professors, professionals, and community members to discuss a wide variety of environmental topics. It is a free event with brunch provided, along with giveaway opportunities and a nature-related craft.

This year's C4C will support SALT's World Relief Campaign: "Sheltering Strength, Preserving Dignity: Empowering Women to Lead Successful Lives". This campaign is in support of Gabriel's Horn Women's Shelter in South Haven, IN. Gabriel’s Horn Homeless Shelter is dedicated to offering support and services to women facing homelessness within the Porter County area. Their mission focuses on providing a safe and supportive environment where individuals can access temporary housing, meals, and essential supportive services such as counseling, case management, and transportation. Gabriel's Horn helps to get women off their feet by helping them find housing, employment, healthcare, and childcare.

Valparaiso University invites the community to a football game like no other at the 11th annual Collegiate Robotic Football Conference (CRFC) National Championship Tournament. The Valpo Robotics team is the current two-time champion and will play to make CRFC history by becoming the first team in the organization to have a three-win streak.

Valparaiso University will sponsor a Christmas Eve Service at 10 p.m. in the Gloria Christi Chapel at the Chapel of the Resurrection. University Pastor Kate Museus will preside, with the organ played by Jihye Choi, visiting professor of music.

The final days of Morning Prayer for the semester leading up to Christmas will be marked with “O Antiphons” Advent services — musical texts based on the titles given to Jesus Christ. Friday, Dec. 15’s service will also include a Christmas Carol sing-along. Worship services are in the Gloria Christi Chapel on the lower level of the Chapel of the Resurrection’s east end.
