Mural Week Kick-off

Valparaiso Creative Council welcome four local artists for this mural event taking over multiple locations in downtown.
Join VCC at City Hall (166 Lincolnway) from 9:00am-1:00pm for this FREE, exciting event where you can celebrate art and watch artists paint murals live! You’ll receive a Mural Map, complimentary TAG Can (first 500 attendees only), purchase your own graffiti coloring book and new VCC merch, and enjoy food trucks and music.
Newly added is the collaborative “Valpo Kids Create” mural, made possible by Everwise, where kids can register to add their mark to this public masterpiece.

At the heart of this initiative is the Valparaiso Creative Council (VCC). The VCC serves as a bridge to connect artists and the community and delivers exciting arts-based community projects, initiatives, fundraisers, and events.
