Join us for the 2nd Annual Valpo Blues & BBQ Festival, featuring a lineup of impressive blues artists and BBQ from some of NWI’s best restaurants.

Bring a blanket or chairs to relax and enjoy the evening!

No outside beverages or food allowed.

Event is 21+. Ticket holders must show valid ID at entry.

Mandalyn & The Hunters

Mandalyn & The Hunters features Tony TC Coleman playing the drums, a one of a kind mix of guitarists Bart Walker and Brian Allen taking it to another level, and Frank Ray Jr on keys/organ adding the perfect combination of sound that’s taking the blues world by storm!

With her 3rd Place finish at the 2024 International Blues Competition, Mandalyn has proven to be a tremendous force in the world of blues, enthralling listeners with her powerful storytelling and soul-stirring performances. Her songs remind us of the blues' timeless capacity to touch our souls and mend our hearts, and they stand as a tribute to that power.

Luke Pytel Band

Luke’s musical versatility has earned him a reputation as a solid, skillful guitarist and a respected sideman. Motivated deeply by the words of his departed friend and mentor Chico Banks. He was fortunate to cross paths with Johnny Dollar, Al Harris and Steve Smeja.

He started working with Chicago fixture Rodney Brown, who took a chance on the young guitarist and flew Pytel to Phoenix for a gig. Brown’s expansive and somewhat intimidating repertoire forced Luke out of his early comfort zone of shuffles and lumps and into a whole new realm of Blues and R&B.

Funky Mojo Daddy

Funky Mojo Daddy is a soulful blues band from Northwest Indiana. Almost 20 years strong and still going! You can regularly find them performing at legendary Chicago establishments like Buddy Guy’s Legends, Reggie’s Music Joint, Kingston Mines & More!
