Stop Kiss | Presented by Chicago Street Theatre

Chicago Street's next presentation honors Pride Month. This is the story of Callie and Sara, a powerful tale of love, told out of sequence. Following their first kiss in New York’s Central Park, they become victims of a hate crime that leaves Sara in a coma. Through time shifts, we witness the evolution of the relationship of Callie, a traffic reporter, and Sara, an elementary school teacher from St. Louis new to the city. We hope you will laugh, cry, and fall in love with these characters as they find love for each other. We are excited to perform this production in the round for an intimate theatrical experience.

Anderson's Winery Presents | Sugar Lime Blue

Sugar Lime Blue is capturing listeners with its grooving style of blues infused rock. Drawing from an ever expanding list of original material and far reaching covers, SLB will keep listeners on their toes waiting to hear what is next and how it is going to be played. Pulling from staple R&B artist like Otis Redding, Al Green and Bill Withers, classic jam style bands like Little Feat and the Grateful Dead, and current day rockers like Sheryl Crow, and the Black Crowes, Sugar Lime Blue pulls off a retro type of vibe with a sound that you probably won't be able to compare immediately to any one artist. Not falling into the same old ruts that many bands fall into, is something that has driven Sugar Lime Blue since their begining in 2006. Always exploring on stage, as they wind through an impressive list of covers and originals, its not always the same expected fare that Sugar Lime Blue(SLB) serves up. Yes, you will here plenty of respected artists in their choice of covers, but don't expect a top 40 show. What listeners get is a healthy dose of original interpetations, musical jams, and noteworthy songs that keeps the listener engaged.
