Musical theatre has been such a gift to many of us in our lives. It is an amazing way to express yourself, to share your undeniable talent, and to make friends that you can carry with you for a lifetime.
Our students will work on songs, choreography, and they will have a chance to audition for solos if they choose to throw their hat in the ring!! We can't wait to see you there and share our students' hard work with all of you.
Memorial Opera House’s youth theatre program, LimeLights, is proud to announce a new and exciting partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Northwest Indiana. It is their mission to inspire and enable the youth of our communities to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. We truly cannot think of a better organization to align with. LimeLights Youth Theatre prides itself on creating an open and welcoming space for their students to learn, explore, and express themselves while growing into the incredible people they are meant to be.
The perks of joining the LimeLights family is endless, but it is not limited to the arts. When you enroll in our program you will also be enrolling as a member of the Boys & Girls Club. Current B&G Club members will need to enroll in each LimeLights class/camp and pay tuition. All new B&G Club members will have a separate fee which will include tuition for the class/camp and the B&G Club’s annual fee. The $40 membership fee is good for one year from the date you are enrolled. All paperwork must be completed before the first day of class/camp.
So, what does that get you? Once a member, all students will have access to countless opportunities and experiences at the B&G Club. Members have access to tutoring and homework help after school, weekly themed activities, local field trips, academic programming over the summer to help prevent learning loss, athletic leagues, and daily meals and snacks. Combine that with our LimeLights enrollment opportunities and you are setting your child up for a well-rounded and successful future. This is just the beginning.
