Valparaiso Brewfest Food Vendor



Valparaiso Events is currently accepting proposals for food vendors to participate in the 8th Annual Valpo Brewfest, located at Central Park Plaza in Downtown Valparaiso on Saturday, September 30, 2017. Event attendance will be approximately 3,400.

A total of three (3) General Admission food vendors and (1) VIP Food Vendor will be accepted. Event times are 12:00pm to 4:30 pm. VIP hour is 12:00-1:00pm with General Admission beginning at 1:00pm. Vip Food Vendor can remain for the duration of the event.

We are looking for easy to carry, easy to eat food items and, of course, items that go well with beer. Each vendor must also have soda and water available for purchase. To be considered please submit your menu options. You are able to list up to 7 items on your application but will only be able to sell 4 items per food booth. We ask for the additional items to be listed to avoid duplicate items.

The 2017 VIP Brewery is Sun King Brewing located in Indianapolis, IN. There will be 5 VIP beers that will need to be expertly paired with 5 food items of the VIP Food Vendors choice. These food items are included in the VIP attendee ticket and vendor will be paid per each attendee. If you are interested in participating as the VIP Food Vendor as well, please indicate your interest on the form below.

Vendor Fee:

General Admission– $200. Please make your check payable to Valparaiso Events & send to 150 W. Lincolnway Suite 1006 Valparaiso IN 46383. If selected, you will be contacted via phone or email and your payment is due within 15 days of acceptance.

Proposals are due no later than Friday, April 14, 2017.

Along with your payment, you must include a copy of your certificate of insurance naming both Valparaiso Events and City of Valparaiso as additionally insured.

Food vendors will be set up under the William E. Urschel Pavilion in Central Park Plaza. Vendor must be able to be setup AND ready to sell items no later than 11:45 a.m. Vendor needs to have enough products to last through 4:30 p.m. Early break down will not be allowed.

Only food items that are accepted in the proposal are allowed to be sold. Other food items for sale on the day of the event that were not included in original proposal will not be allowed. If you want to substitute an item you must get approval from Valparaiso Events first.

Vendor is responsible for all needed supplies.

If you are working with hot oil and/or grease, you must lay cardboard under your work space to keep cooking area grease free. In the event that additional cleaning is required, you will be charged $100.

Smoking is not permitted in the food area.

Spaces are 10×10 with the use of the area behind your space. Two (2) 8ft covered tables will be provided for you. If you need more, you must bring your own. Tents are optional.

Electricity is available; however, you may need to bring extension cords based on location.

Vendor must follow all health department rules and regulations and obtain all necessary permits.
